In 1992 I was a premed student at a small local university, thus was very engage with my classes. The chemistry professor, a young Phd from the University of Chicago, was teaching for the first time the lab with micro chemistry. It was brand new tech and as it became apparent that each lab was going to fail, she became more apologetic. I think most of the class was relieved they would not be held accountable, while I was stressed that I would be less prepared for the MCAT!
